Following the publication of grades awarded by exam boards, Year 13 students and their families are encouraged to read this support and guidance documents carefully:

Results Days 2020

As you know, A Level and GCSE Results Days will be very different this year. We wrote to our students in July to explain how they will receive their results on Thursday 13th (A Level) and Thursday 20th (GCSE) August.

Given the unusual situation this year, it is natural to feel some anxiety and uncertainty ahead of receiving results. However, we encourage students, families and staff to be reassured by the fact that HSS staff will be on hand to support them on 13th and 20th August and beyond.

Here are some useful guides from Ofqual with further information about how grades are being awarded this year:

• a video guide for students

• an infographic which explains the awarding process

• more detailed guidance for teachers, students, parents and carers
