After each tracker point, a clear and purposeful process begins to ensure every student is supported, stretched and celebrated.
Once the data is collected, it is carefully analysed by Subject Leaders and by members of the Senior Leadership Team. This analysis looks beyond grades alone and focuses on key indicators such as Attitude to Learning (A2L) and any identified barriers to learning. This allows leaders to build a detailed picture of how students are progressing academically and pastorally, and where support or recognition is needed.
For students who have a low A2L and/or significant barriers to learning, targeted interventions are put in place promptly. These interventions may include academic support, mentoring, pastoral guidance or adjustments within lessons, all tailored to the individual needs of the students. The aim is to remove obstacles to learning and to help students fulfil their full potential.
Following this, meetings take place with Heads of House and Heads of Year. These discussions ensure that the data is fully shared and understood, and that valuable pastoral insight is included. This collaborative approach means that no student is viewed purely through data; their wider school experience, wellbeing and personal circumstances are also considered.
Just as important as support is celebration. Students who demonstrate high A2L are recognised through certificates and commendations, reinforcing the value we place on effort, resilience and positive learning behaviours. In addition, we recognise students who have no barriers to learning, those with consistently high A2L, and those who have shown the most improvement since the previous tracker point.
This cycle of analysis, support and celebration ensures that every tracker point leads to meaningful action, helping students to thrive both academically and personally.
