MEDICAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT/STUDENT RECEPTIONIST

REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Pay scale:         Grade 3, Scale Point 5-6 £18795-£19171 (pro rata for term time) + medical administration allowance

Contract:          Permanent,     Part time / 32.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to undertake the dual role of Medical Support Assistant/Student Receptionist to support our students. Reporting to our Education Support Services Team Leader, the post-holder will provide first line general administrative support/advice to our students whilst undertaking the role of first aider and provision of the administration of medicines, where appropriate, for which an allowance will be paid. Full induction and training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Cleaning Staff 

REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

GRADE: Grade 1 SCP 1-2 (17,346 to £17,711 – pro rata)   

HOURS/WEEKS: 16 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Monday to Thursday 3pm-6:15pm, Friday 3pm-6pm)   

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor/Premises Team Leader, the successful candidates will assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the areas allocated. Duties will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, scrubbing, sanitising, shampooing, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting of designated areas as required.  

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous cleaning experience, good attention to detail, a conscientious attitude and pride in their work. 

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORs

REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

GRADE: 1 SCP 1-2 (17,346 to £17,711 – pro rata)

HOURS/WEEKS: 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (Monday to Friday 12-1pm)

CLOSING DATE: Tuesday 3 March 2020 (noon)

INTERVIEW DATE: tbc

Reporting to the Educational Support Team Leader, the successful candidates will have responsibility for the supervision of students at lunchtimes in the dining room and for clearing tables. Successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
