School Production: The Crucible
This year's school production will be the powerful Arthur Miller play, The Crucible.
The play is about the 17th century Salem witch hunts which took place in the US. Originally written to highlight the issues born out of accusations of Communism within the US government, nowadays the play has a much more contemporary relevance with the issues we face around Brexit.
As always, the cast is exceptional, and the audience will be taken on an gripping journey of passion, betrayal and remorse. If you’re looking for something to compare this play to, it will have echoes of contemporary media such as The Handmaid’s Tale. All in all, it promises to be a sensational and compelling production that should not be missed!
It will be performed in school over four evenings - Tue 9th July - Friday 12th July at 7pm.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 17th April priced at £15/£10 https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/high-storrs-school.
