Our incredible Squash team have placed 6th in the National Squash Championships, clearly following in the footsteps of alumnus Nick Matthew (World Squash Champion). Josh Payne, Fergus Hunt, Jacob Mullins Brown, George Fearn, Alana Fearn and Ollie Collins.

• In their first round they beat Leeds Grammar, Barnard Castle and Nunthorpe.
• In the second round they beat Ackworth, Gosforth Academy and Tapton
• In the final they lost to South Hunsley, beat Dr Challoners and then lost to John Hampden!

This left them placing 6th overall, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. 

Particular mention to Jacob and George who, as Year 7s, were playing against boys who were up to 2 years older!! 

Special praise to our No 1. Josh Payne who won all NINE of his matches played! Exceptional!
