Sixth Form Open Evening Tues 7th Nov

Laura Mason, Director of Sixth Form

The whole school promises to be alive with passion and enthusiasm as we demonstrate exactly why our Sixth Form is 'Outstanding' (Ofsted 2013). Every subject will have a showcase across their classrooms of the Sixth Form course content with demonstrations, presentations and activities.

Our students have a learning environment which is second to none, including new sports facilities, drama and dance studios and new Sixth Form areas, as well as a Learning Resource Centre. It is the perfect environment to deepen your study of subjects your studied at GCSE or embark on new subjects.

The Sixth Form has a uniquely supportive ethos. Students are stretched and challenged, but in a positive way, catering for individual needs and abilities. We believe that every student can and should experience success.  But there is so much more to Sixth Form life that academic achievement. Students enjoy all the opportunities of a well-resources school, with a full package of extra-curricular activities and vibrant social life.

We help prepare students for higher education, employment or further training, so they can play a full and responsible role in the community. Our committed and talented staff do all that we can to develop high aspirations.

We'd love for you to join us to find out exactly what makes High Storrs such a vibrant and successful Sixth Form and help you with your application to attend in September 2018.
