Sixth Form Preliminary Course – 27th   and 28th June 2016

The two day Preliminary Course provides students with an opportunity to try out the post 16 courses they have chosen, to meet members of  teaching staff, to get to know other members of the sixth form and to receive important information about enrolment.

The programme will commence on Monday 27th June at 10.00am. Upon arrival, students are required to make their way to Student Reception and attend the Welcome Assembly, during which the programme for the course will be explained, and after the break students will undertake ‘getting to know you’ activities with Sixth Form Tutors.

Students are required to download a copy of the Preliminary Course Booklet 6th Form 2016 which provides the structure of the Course and information about enrolment and arrangements for the beginning of term.

If students have informed us that they intend to attend the Preliminary Course they will receive a personalised timetable.  Should a student wish to attend but has not informed us they are attending they are required to report at 8:30am for a timetable.

If students wish to make changes to their A Level choices, please check that they fit into the blocks published on our website.  Changes of subject depend on group sizes, grade requirements and will need to be discussed on an individual basis.
