School Meals

At High Storrs we are very pleased to be able to provide high quality, nutritious food to all students. As part of the BSF project, we have been lucky enough to have a new Formal Dining Room and ‘Fast Track’ informal dining area, along with new state-of-the-art kitchens and servery areas, located in the new North Building.  All food is made fresh on the premises by our team of fully trained cooks.

 

The Formal Dining Room is open at breaktime from 10.55am to 11.05am selling hot and cold food. There is also a breakfast club from 7.45am until 8.20am offering a selection of hot and cold food.

It is then open at lunchtime from 12.05pm onwards selling hot food including our Meal of the Day. The cost of the meal is £1.65 for the main course, and £2.03 for the main course and dessert.

The Informal Dining Room is open from 10.30am to 12.00pm for 6th formers and staff. At 12.05pm it is open to everyone. This is our cold food provision, including sandwiches and fruit.

High Storrs are proud to announce that we were the first school in Sheffield to be nutritionally compliant to the nutritional guidelines set by The School Food Trust. This was achieved in 2009.
