Next PTA Meeting 14 July and end of year social 7.30pm at Prince of Wales pub corner of Carter Knowle Road and Ecclesal Road South to say good by to Mr Everitt and look ahead to plans for next year.

Plant and Car Boot Sale

Thanks to everyone who helped at the Plant and Car Boot Sale on Sunday – it all went very smoothly and the rain stayed away thanks to the Collier’s lucky gazebo! That’s the third year I’ve borrowed it and not had to put it up!  The final figure for funds raised was £805 net.

OVER £3000 RAISED AT AUCTION OF PROMISES!  When you claim your promise PLEASE take some photos and send them with a caption to the PTA at highstorrspta@googlemail.com  – we’d love to post them on the website and print them in the newsletter.

The PTA’s AIMS are to provide a social forum forum for parents, teachers and school staff and to raise money for the school. Recent PTA events have been a great success attracting capacity audiences.  Money raised by the PTA benefits High Storrs pupils.  The PTA contributed £1,200 to support the school rewards system, £200 towards Sports Day Trophies and the House Cup, and £400 to production of The Wiz.
