High Storrs PTA is a fiendly group of parents working in partnership with the school to help provide a better experience for our children.  We meet regularly to discuss ways in which we can raise money to support worthwhile initiatives.  We are actively involved in many School events as well as running our own fundraising events. 

 

We know that parents are busy people and we fully understand that you won’t necessaily be able to attend every meeing we organise or volunteer to help at lots of evening events.  However, we would encourage you to get involved, we’re very grateful for any assistance you can give and we certainly don’t want to pressurise anyone into contributing more that they are willing to.

  

A great way to support us is by attending some of our events. Come along and buy a few refreshments and you are supporting fundraising for the school

 

This is really easy. Just add your email to our distribution list. Each event we send out emails detailing of a forthcoming event and the roles we need to fill. You can either pass that one by or offer to help. Typically, it will involve an hour or two serving tea and cakes!

The PTA enjoyed taking part in the High Storrs Christmas Fayre and ran a Victorian Tea Shop.

 

The Quiz Night was a well attended and successful event, raising £502 towards school funds. The winning team, We Only Came for the Chips, are pictured.

 

Jo and Esme (6th Form) sang beautifully for us.

 

 

 

 

Our annual Plant and Car Boot Sale was a great success raising £1300 towards School funds.  A car booter commented on the Sheffield Forum website and said what a great event it was, not horribly early and a great atmosphere!
